That was not a murder, in the ordinary sense of the word. It was a leap of faith, a touch of justice, a real need. Faith in a divinity who demanded sacrifices in order to maintain the purity of the race; justice towards the House of Lambda, outraged by the mongrel's existence; the need for avoiding any threat to the Chosen's glorious destiny, for the Goddess was approaching and disgrace should be mended.
Should it have been mended long ago, when Lady Lambda gave birth to the red-haired baby girl with insidious turquoise-like eyes. Such a shameful daughter of sin among pure grey heads and glazes! Nevertheless, redemption finally stained their hands.
Hardly had the corpse started to freeze when the Goddess arrived. A feeling of doom chilled the Chosen's spine as they could see how her flaming hair glowed and the blue in her eyes found them guilty of murder.
